The Malgas vineyards have been planted by the Trafford Family from Stellenbosch in the Breede Valley  – called Sijnn by the original Khoisan inhabitants. Perched on a plateau of slate and rolled stones, about 15km from the southern oceans of Africa. A new ward, Malgas, has been formed, applicable from the 2010 vintage. Sijnn has rapidly become the best kept secret in South AFrican wine farming. This blend is composed with Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira and Mourvèdre. 96 Points rating by Tim Atkins.
